There's great info available in the government public records database. Democracy has given the inalienable right to everybody to access these public government records to monitor the functioning of the government and to make the elected delegates liable. It is imperative for every US citizen to provide his private information to be included in the govt. record database. Because of the technological advancement and with web as an important tool, it is terribly suitable to get registered and search the govt. official record database for any sort of documented info. |

The history of horse racing dates back to 4500 BC. Nomadic Tribesmen in Central Asia domesticated the horse and paved the way for this sport. Chariot races were introduced during the Greek Olympics and Roman Empire eras. In the 12th century Arabian horses were brought back with English knights returning from the Crusades. These fast horses helped to develop the sport as we appreciate it today. It was recognized as a professional sport during the reign of Queen Anne in the 1700's. |

People have lived on or near Delray Beach since before recorded history. Of course it wasn't a resort town then, at least not by today's standards. No air conditioning! And it wasn't called Delray Beach then. It may not have had a name but Native Americans lived in this area presumably for approximately 12,000 years. Jumping forward to our era, Florida became the 27th state to join the Union in1845. It seceded in 1861 (along with 10 other Confederate States), but rejoined the Union after the Civil War. Prior to 1845, ancient Africans, Seminole Native Americans, and Black Seminoles were already living in South Florida and continued to do so along with white Europeans settlers who followed in later years. Hunters and trappers plied their trade in the 18th and 19th centuries. Runaway slaves fled to Florida in antebellum times and freed slaves entered Florida after the Civil War to begin new lives as farmers south of the Suwannee River. Military maps of the 1850's Seminole Wars depict a haulover identified as Orange Grove Haulover (a haulover is a sandbar or small body of land that must be crossed when carrying boats overland from one body of water to another, or portage of goods to dry land). The beach area, named from an ancient orange grove found growing nearby, is now the City of Delray Beach. The establishment of the Orange Grove House of Refuge by the United States Life-Saving Service (a predecessor to the United States Cost Guard) was to assist survivors of shipwrecks off the coast of Florida, a not uncommon occurrence. African-Americans established the first school in Southeast Florida. In the 1860's settlers from the Florida panhandle migrated south, purchased some land west of the House of Refuge and began farming. By 1894 their community was large enough to establish the first school in the area. By then the African-American community was large enough to petition Dade County for a school. (The Linton/Delray area was then a part of Dade County until 1909 when Palm Beach County was established) That school, known as "(Dade County) School #4, Colored)," was located in Linton on Blackmer Street, currently known as Northwest "Historic 5th Avenue." As with many such pioneer schools, may have been constructed with palmetto fronds to shelter students from wind and rain. |

Growth, power and fame came hand in hand with making enemies when it comes to the Aztecs. The Aztecs took a lot of people from the neighboring weaker tribes to be sacrificed to their gods and that alone made them hated by the other tribes. So there was at no time any shortage of Aztec enemies. But since the Aztecs were a powerful lot and when it comes to skill they were unmatched; the other groups couldn't take down the Aztecs. |

Aztec warriors were broken down into two categories, and these were commoners who had been given basic military training, and extremely skilled warriors who were members of the nobility. The very experienced Aztec warriors had been acknowledged as Pipiltin, and they were considerably smaller in quantity than the commoners who comprised the bulk of the army. The elite Aztec warriors had been placed in ranks based on their ability, and with regards to the accomplishments they had made on the battlefield. Like all empires, the Aztec Empire was constantly in a state of growth, and to be able to expand, warfare was necessary. By defeating nearby city states, the Aztecs can achieve their wealth and land via tribute. |

I have been reading and hearing a lot lately about people who are saying that loud motorcycle pipes are a major problem in the world. These groups are trying to get those in government to pass all sorts of new inspection laws for motorcycle pipes. Seeing as motorcycles make up such a small percentage of the traffic on the road, I would say this problem is very minimal at best.I wonder how many cars with bad mufflers are heard that many think are motorcycles. |
